Description: The tour starts by heading south on HWY 550 and climbing through Ironton and Red Mountain mining districts to the top of Red Mountain Pass, then onto the Black Bear trail itself. Stopping just past the summit, enjoy pastries and coffee while overlooking the ethereal valley views heading down towards Ingram Creek. Then, expect a dramatic and unforgettable descent over Bridal Veil Falls along the Black Bear mine cliffside and take in the unending views of Telluride and the San Miguel valley. This tour stops in Telluride for lunch and then returns via Imogene with a terrific opportunity to explore the colorful and expansive ruins of the Tomboy mine. Experience the true ruggedness and excitement of 4-wheeling in the San Juans!
