Special Tours for 2012. We specialize in large groups and special events, including weddings, birthdays, corporate retreats, family reunions, educational and photography tours and custom, private tours. We can work around your schedule catering any and all meals as well as providing delicious box lunches on the trail. Whether it is a picnic in the mountains, a quick breakfast or a fine sit-down five course dinner, we can help you manage your event. SOA will pick you up where you are staying and deliver you back at the end of your event. We can also arrange all the details of your events with sufficient advance notice. As with our scheduled tours, our guides can provide educational narratives to suit every tour. They will share the history andlore of our mining structures and provide oral tutorials on the various flower/fauna species. Frequent stops are made for photos and rock collecting. Our experienced guides have over 100 years of combined experience and are dedicated to your complete enjoyment and satisfaction with your experience. All guides are CPR and first aid certified. Ponchos and warm blankets are on board our vehicles for your comfort. Switzerland of America, Inc. operates under a Special Use Permit on the Uncompahgre National Forest and is an equal opportunity service provider.
