Current Trail Conditions

Ouray received more than 21 feet of snow this year. That is the most snow recorded in 60 years! So what does this mean for the trails? Lots of extra work for our county plow crews. The good news is that our wildflower season is already shaping up to be absolutely spectacular. In fact, Yankee Boy Basin is currently a mixture of budding wildflowers, snow banks and fantastic waterfalls...An unforgettable experience! If your traveling from hot climates, you will no doubt see remaining snow banks on the trail elevations all summer long! Stay posted for trail updates. IMPORTANT: Updates are posted as they are received from county entities. 7/3/08
